Hi my name is Dominique-
for the past year i have successfully managed and run 2 family daycares in Brisbane-
This requires caring for 4 children a day, preparation of food, planning of activities and developmentaly appropriate lesson plans and much much more!
As you can imagine i have gained a infinite amount of experience working with children and i am pleased to say i am now in the position where i can have someone work for me Monday and Fridays.
I would love to go back to some private nanning on these days- as although i spend everyday with children, it will never be something i wish to have time off from.

Before running these family day cares i worked for 6 years as a private nanny, gained my teaching degree, worked in child care centres, volunteered in an orphanage and much more!

I have alot of experience with toilet training, settling babies, wrapping and feeding infants, understanding developmental milestones and phases of all ages, infant techniques and training, creating sleep routines,transitioning babies onto solids, behavioural issues, ADHD and children on the Autistic spectrum.

I have successfully taught a diverse range of children and I am skilled in evaluating students and developing student-focused teaching strategies, materials and lesson plans. Able to control a large group of children and create an environment that encourages learning. Known for encouraging children to develop at their own pace in a nurturing environment.
