My name is Kossara and I am a 33 year old first time mum to a 4 1/2 month old baby boy. I have been in childcare for 15 years in many different capacities- from Nannying overseas to working in various Childcare Centres and hold my Diploma in Children's services.I am also a step mum to a gorgeous 11 year old girl who has lived with my partner and I for the past two and a half years - and so I have a very thorough understanding of the needs and demands of a school child. My step daughter has recently moved back to live with her mum and so I am now solely in charge of my little boy. I wish to delay returning to my childcare centre job for as long as possible (so my baby can be with me), and so am looking for a family whom I may be able to offer some assistance to and who is also comfortable with my son coming along for the ride.
I consider myself a very positive, open, upbeat and honest person who is looking for a like minded family.

Hi, I'm Sharni an energetic, caring and mature 18 year old. I've recently returned home from a year long leadership program overseas which emphasised the importance of responsibility, independence, taking initiative and caring for others. The program included volunteering at a special needs community among other productive activities. I have loved working with children and have a lot of experiences in this field from over 4 years of casual babysitting for several different families. For the past two years I've been volunteering at youth camps. This responsibility included caring for large groups of children (40+) aged 8-13, planning and running outdoor and educational activities, keeping the children safe and providing general care. I am now about to commence studies at QUT which I look forward to eagerly. I can assure you that your children will be in safe hands with me as their carer.

At these jobs, I picked up children from school, prepared food, helped with homework and played games and sport in the backyard.

Each day is different when working with children and this is why I live to care and educate children. I have been working with children from the time I left high schools back in 2009. I worked as an Au Pair in America for 12 months and then went over to England for 6 months. Both families were completely different and the children's ages varied. I learnt many life skills as well as caring and learning to have fun with children. This lead me to wanting to be a Kindy teacher. I started uni in 2012 In NSW were I worked as an on call casual assistant for 2.5 years before moving to QLD were I worked as a casual Childcare assistant. In almost completing my degree I was given a Kindy position role through word of mouth and although only being with them for a short time I know my career is going to be the best. I've only ever taken care of my little cousins and nephews, so I don't have a lot of experience, but I believe I'm great with kids and would love to learn.
