Hello, my name's Kelly!
I'm a career nanny with almost 20 years experience caring for children and families. I'm currently caring for children ranging from 2 to 8 years old, across two gorgeous families. Sadly as of Christmas time I will no longer be required for one of the families.
My nanny/babysitting experience dates back to the late 1990’s as a teenager. I moved to London in 2000 and became a nanny from 2001-2004 for two fantastic families. From 2010-2012 I was a nanny in Melbourne for families with children ranging in ages from 6 months-8 years. These positions sadly ended as I moved from Melbourne to study a Bachelor of Nutrition Science in Brisbane, which I have now completed. I'm now the founder of "Love Yourself Nutrition" which at this stage is just a hobby, passion and avenue for me to share my love of health and wellness.
All of my nanny positions have involved caring for babies, toddlers & school children. I have also spent some time working in the education …

Babysitting is a very large aspect of my business. I have heaps of experience working with children and currently have about 12 families who have children as young as 3 months of age up to 13yrs. I have also assisted at birthday parties of 30+ children and solely looked after families of up to 4 children on a regular basis. I have previously worked for a family with a 2yr old and 4yr old as a nanny 16hrs/week for over 6 months and have current first aid certificate and Blue Card and am happy to do light housework.
I believe that the quality of a babysitter is shown through great references, the following is a quote written by one of the mothers I …

Hi and thank you for reading; my name's Cris, I'm primarily a Mum of 5 wonderful adults, and grandma to 2 beautiful little ones. I've had a career in sales (educational publishing to schools mostly), and for the most part, really found my joyful purpose in raising my three lovely sons, now in their 30's, with just-as-lovely wives, (one has my 2 grandchildren); and who all enjoy fulfilling careers; and my two daughters, who are aged 21, and nearly 20, both doing their tertiary study.
I'm a calm and happy person and truly enjoy being with children of all ages. I became interested in applying for caring roles for children when my daughter-in-law required both us Mums to help out when she worked before her now-2year old daughter attended kindy. She's now a stay-at-home Mum, having recently had her little boy. She enjoys her time with her sister and friends who all have young children, playmates to hers.
I have parent references from my daughter-in-law and her friends, who've known …
I love caring for kids, I have been doing nanny and babysitting work for the past 7/8 years starting from casual babysitting to caring for a family of 3 which included a new born caring for him until he was 2. I am a registered nurse in my first year out completing a graduate program. During the first year as a registered nurse they only contract to 0.7 which is 7 days a fortnight. I am looking for some extra work until I am able to increase my hours as a nurse. I have mixed availability however my job is flexible so I will be more then happy to accomodate. I am able to request my roster, therefore this should not be a problem. I would be looking for a max of 2 days a week. My pay rate is higher then most on here simply because I have a nursing degree, police check, blue card and have been nannying for a long time. I absolutely love children my hope is to finish my graduate year and obtain a job as a paediatric nurse.
Hello! My name is Em!
I am 20 years old and I am a 3rd year medical student. This year however, I am taking a break from my studies to broaden my education, explore my passions and enjoy myself! That is why I have decided to take to babysitting. I see this as the perfect opportunity, not only to keep myself financially afloat, but also as I love working (ok, playing) with children.
I must be honest and admit I don't have years and years of experience under my belt. However, in saying that I have casually minded my cousins and friends siblings since I can remember. I have also had one formal babysitting job in the past, which involved caring for a 10 y.o. boy on the weekends. Finally, in my first year of studies I took part in a Sony Foundation Children’s Holiday Camp. This required me to be the full time career of a non-verbal 9 y.o autistic boy for the week.
As for how I 'run' things I am more than open to learning new things and having new experiences. I would be happy to …

My name is Krystal and I have been working with children aged 0-7 for the past 10yrs.
I am an experienced Nanny of many years. My journey in the industry began as a children's entertainer (which was great fun), and I quickly progressed to working in the childcare/early learning education industry for around 3yrs as I wanted to really get to know the life of children and develop a deeper relationship with them as a carer and teacher.
My most recent role working with children was as a full-time nanny for a little boy who is now 3 (he was 5mths when I began looking after him!) and his sister who is now almost 7.
I am a strong believer in the child-led philosophy, and believe that the most significant part of being an early childhood educator is in being attentive and attuned to the individual interests and needs of each child, and facilitating their growth through providing them with stimulating options in areas of interest to them, but allowing them always to choose and lead …
