I am a mature aged lady under 50, well, for another 10 months anyway :)I have a wealth of knowledge and experience with children from newborn to high school which began with the birth of my first child 31 years ago. I was a family day care provider whilst my own children were small and I have been working in centre care since 1995. I have been in my current position as a director for over 5 years. My husband and I own a personal training studio which caters mainly to clients with medium/high chronic illness. Although I love my job at the centre, I now need to find more time to spend on the business to encourage community awareness and promote our growth in the fitness industry through restoring peoples health.I know that children still need to be a large part of my life and I am at my happiest when looking after a home and family. Presently my husband can't afford me :( and although I am equally qualified to train people I need to be spending time on the business rather than than in the business. Ideally I am looking for a family that is able to substitute all or most of my current wage if I were to help out with the before school duties and return for after school duties meal preparation time. I am extremely efficient in the house and can get alot done in very little time so you would still come home to the house looking like I had been home all day doing housework. My husband works until 8p.m. each weekday evening except for Fridays and our 9 children (6 his, 3 mine) are all living independantly so preparing baths/dinner/homework/story time for you would not interfere with my own family time. Although I am on my own weight loss mission I still am a very fit and energetic lady. I would also consider a position that was full days but not every day of the week or a position where if there was a child not yet in school, they could be with me outside of your home during the day. I believe as a nanny, my role would be to supplement rather than substitute the wonderful care you already provide to your child/children. I would help them to develop a strong sense of self awareness and confidence in knowing they can grow to achieve whatever they set their mind to do. My rate may be more than the average babysitter but hey, what price do you put on the quality of care provided to your children and then if you can combine that with a housekeeper/cook, you really can't afford not to have me. Renumeration can be negotiated so please do not pay too much attention to the fee I nominated it was compulsory to have an amount of some kind displayed.I do have a reliable car and an open licence with full points (touch wood) and am happy and willing to travel for the right family. look forward to speaking with you soon.
