Hello, my name is Alysha and I am currently enrolled in Bachelor of Commerce/Business Management at University of Queensland. I am currently in my 4th year at uni.
Despite having limited official experience of being a nanny, I have had frequent experience with baby sitting and interactions with children. In 2006, as part of a Community Service project, I completed 15 hours at Blackwood Street Child Centre in Mitchelton. My duties were not limited to: interacting, reading and playing with toddlers, preparing meals and assisting the teacher. I found my experience at Long Day Care Centre to be highly enjoyable and rewarding.
I am also lucky enough to have a large family with abundance of cousins, ranging in age from 1 week old to 18 years. Therefore, over the years, I have had numerous opportunities to babysit for my aunts and uncles. This is something I love to do.
Based on my university timetable for this semester, I am available for work from Wednesday – Sunday.
