Elizabeth Edwards (Lizzy) has been a live in nanny with my
daughter at the Q1 Tower during which time

Her main responsibilities included taking my child to Gold Coast Theme Parks
and lots of family orientated activities on weekends.

I feel that children need the structure of routine activities and I have developed a daily routine plan which is based upon The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia BELONGING, BEING & BECOMING. I implement activities from my program to support individual children's strengths and encourage them to learn and expand in different areas.

My aim in working with Children is to provide a safe, supportive and nurturing environment allowing children to learn and play while still having the security of an "at home" atmosphere.

I complete a Weekly Book and have this displayed in my service. This allows you a look at what your child has done during their time in care, and provides you the opportunity to ask questions or add comments. I also gather information - artworks and record observations on each individual child and present that to the families at the end of year.

EDUCATION: 2009 – I completed my year 10 High School Certificate at St Joseph’s Regional College.

2011 – I completed my year 12 Higher School Certificate at Port Macquarie High School.
The subjects I completed include; General Mathematics, General English, Community and Family Studies, Hospitality Certificate II and PD.H.PE.

2013 – I have completed a Traineeship with Mid Coast Group Training in Business Administration Certificate III at Port Macquarie TAFE. I now work part-time as an Administration Officer in the Mid Coast Group Training office.

WORK EXPERIENCE: 2008 - 2009 – I worked on a casual basis during the Christmas break at ICE Design where I completed tasks involving customer service, cash and till handling and time management skills.

2010 - 2011 – I completed unpaid work experience as part of my Hospitality Certificate II course at The Coffee Club and The Healthy Way.
2012 – 2013 – I have completed a full-time Traineeship at Mid Coast Group Training Port Macquarie, where I now work part-time as an Administration Officer.


PERSONAL: - I am reliable and honest. I am able to accept and deal with authority.

INTERESTS: I enjoy keeping fit by walking my pet dog daily and by taking classes at my gym. I also enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors in my spare time and spending quality time with my family and friends.
