I am a 23 year old Canadian Master's student currently studying for the semester at UNSW. I have been looking after kids of all ages for approximately 10 years now. In secondary school, I started my own after-school care service with an educational component whereby the children learned and practiced how to read. I have also worked, and feel comfortable, with babies (< 2 years old). I am looking for casual, part time work as my study visa limits me to working 20 hours per week. I have a passion for children and love seeing their faces light up. I also love to provide children with an opportunity to learn, as my education has always been something I have cherished. My schedule is quite flexible, with the only restrictions being my class time (wednsday late afternoon- early evening, thursday evening, friday afternoon and all day Saturday).

Hey there, working with children is what I am meant to do! I absolutely love working with children and love helping and supporting them in developing their skills and being part of their lives.
I loved getting hands on and involved in entertaining children and being part of the family. Setting up arts and crafts activities, spending a lot of time outdoors on the beach in parks, out and about and walking.
I’m super flexible on routines, days and hours depending on what you and your family are looking for. At the moment I am free every day and to do some evening babysitting as well.
As far as my experience with working with children goes, I don’t remember a time since the age of 14 that I haven’t loved being around children and working with them, that is why I trained and studied for 2 years to gain my level 3 diploma in childcare and education. During the 2 years and since then I have worked with children from 0-14 Years in various different settings including:
• Regular Babysitting for neighbours and local families since the age of 15 which I still babysit for 4 years later
• Working in a family home as a mothers help looking after 3 girls aged 6 months, 2 years and 5 years
• A permanent staff cover working for my local pre-school
• Helping out with my local surf lifesaving nippers club.
• Worked full time in a drop off kid’s club with babies and children
