I am a kind, fun and mature young woman who is passionate about spending time with and caring for children. I find it not only wonderfully rewarding work, but good fun - children make me laugh and fire up my imagination, which is what I try to do for them in return.

I have recently finished a full-time live-in au pair position caring for 3 boys (6, 3 and 11 months). I feel that in the time I was there I made an impact on the children, particularly the middle boy, who has rather serious developmental problems, and who I managed to engage well. I am so grateful for the experience because I now feel so much more confident caring for more than one child at once, and working with children who have learning difficulties.
I also have more casual experience babysitting for a friends two boys (4 and 6) and for a 2 year old girl back home in the UK.

I enjoy being outdoors, exercise, playing games with the children or teaching kids in a way where they can learn through fun and games. I enjoy arts and crafts, knitting and sewing. I regularly attend the gym when I can and in my spare time I normally have my nose in a book. I've been a bookworm since I was a kid, so perhaps this is why I enjoy assisting children discover and learn, not just about their reading and writing, but also about themselves.

I am entirely flexible regarding days and hours and am quite happy to do chores and cook.
