I have been in Australia since Dec 2010 and have worked as a Nanny in Sydney for 2 different families. The children were aged 6 weeks and 2 years in one position, and 3 months in the other. I hve also taken on agency work with my most recent positions caring for 3 month old premature twins, a 5 week old and 10 month old twins. These were only short term ad hoc positions. I am looking for a few odd hours here and there, nothing permanent as I will soon take on a position 4 days a week as of the start of february.(Days to be confirmed) I am a UK Qualified Nursery Nurse with over 10 years Childcare experience. The last 6 years have been spent working as a Nanny in London. I have looked after children from as young as 6 days old up to 10 years. I have Newborn Twins experience as I had a number of positions working as a Night Nanny. Working as a Nanny is what I do best....I like to give the children in my care a variety of activities to do, we'll spend the morning out and about at the Beach or the park, go for walks or to the Zoo. I also like to spend time at home doing more hands on activities...arts & crafts, painting, cooking, and doing little projects. Whatever their age there is always something they can do!
I am very organised (you have to be with children!) as well as being patient. I like the children to have lots of fun whilst with me and I like to get them involved in planning things to do.
I have had a number of Sole charge positions so work well using my own initiative.
I am flexible with working hours and days needed. At the moment i am looking for any kind of babysitting/help you may need, as well as temporary Nanny work.
I am a very experienced nanny who has FANTASTIC written and spoken references, both from the UK and Australia.
