Hi there, I am a 23 year old University Student studying Teaching/Bachelor of Arts. I am realiable, honest, hardworking, compassionate, fun, kind and geuinely interested in the care and education of children. I have been working in childcare for over 5 years, (OOSH, long day care, short day care, preschool, nannying, babysitting) having obtained a Certificate 3 in Childcare. I am looking for ongoing work to coincide with my uni schedule. I am located in the Sutherland Shire, but am willing to travel. Pay is flexible, depending on duties.

Hi im Rachel. I have always been interested in working with children since my first babysitting job at 13 years old and since then i can tell you, there has never been a dull moment.At the moment, i am really looking for some more hands on experiences and learning different things from a childs perspective.I do regular nannying around the shire,but my role for the last year has been room leader for the 2-3 years room and previous to that 2 years in the 0-2 room as an assistant.
The only reason why i chose this profession is that you never know what comes next with children and you will ALWAYS be highly amused and if you are having fun and loving that,then that makes your job all the more worthwhile.
I have always been told that i am the most patient person they know, so i think thats the key to working with children, as children can see right through you and can tell if you are getting frustrated easily.
