I have been a PROFESSIONAL NANNY-HOUSEKEEPER-P.A,for two wonderful families over 8 years both full time sole charge long term roles,I'm 37 and before nanning I was a flight attendant for Ansett Airlines full time since I left school(Queen wood) the reason for leaving as you would know the company folded.I had always looked after children and babies on the aircraft so when I was offered my first nanny p.a position I knew I'd be in my element,which I was and be great at it, as my training for Ansett was all about being reliable, efficient ,being able to handle pressure and confrontation even though I knew being in high demand for little ones would be my toughest!! My first family was over the five days with three children-- a newborn,2 yr old and 4 yr old,I was a nanny housekeeper p.a for them for 5 years full time and multi-tasking was the key,the position came to an end as all three were now in school. My second family, over four days which I had twin girls for three yrs full time sole charge. I started when twins were newborn,i.e at 12weeks old and position finished as again the twins were now in pre-school 3days and a nanny only needed for 1day then their mum on the 5th day. I'm still very good friends with both families.I still do weekend sole charge stays for first family when parents go away and continue to do the occasional Saturday night babysitting for the twin girls which I love!I adore being a nanny and happy to help in every way,i.e- everything to do with babies/children,emotional and social needs, activities, stimulating days with happiness- structure and calmness, well most of the time !.Ì have a good sense of humour, a must for a lovely nanny, have never taken a sick day, totally reliable, trustworthy, honest and yes I get out there kick a ball, build sandcastles, make healthy meals and fruit for snacks plus water offering regularly as hydration is so important. I love reading and making a happy warm environment.I keep a diary of our day,which consists of ''it all".I always have the home, washing, kitchen, toys, bed in order, groceries, garden watered,dry cleaning, parcels, birthday presents organised etc, all done so when you're home it's your own time together and happy bathed, fed little ones.The children/bubbas always come first as I'm sure that's the same for you, their happiness,comfort and safety are paramount to me. I have excellent references for you to contact and read .I am a positive, kind hearted, loving, fun,cheery but calm person,so I've been told!. I can always settle the upsets with the "distraction method",it definitely works almost every time,have it down pat after my years of consistent hands on experience with a 'can do' attitude without any moods from myself.
