Hi families! I am currently seeking a Fulltime Nanny Position ! My name is Susan and i am 26 years old! I am a qualified childcare worker and hold a cert 4 in Childrens services, And am currently studying Child Pyschology. I have been in the childcare industry the last 8years and am certain that childcare in any shape or form is the choosen field for me, throughtout that 8years i have worked as a childcare practitioner within centres, a Nanny, a Babysitter and also an Au Pair. I am from ireland orginally but have lived here in sunny australia the past 5 and a half years (6 years in September) and as a result I am now a permanent resident. I currently reside in Rozelle and would ideally love to find work based in the Inner West Area! My current position is based at a childcare centre that i have been with the last year and a half but have decided solely based on the fact that I am missing the nanny world that I would love to return. Its bitter sweet for me as I adore my workplace, families, co-workers and especially the children but its a decision I am sure I will be happiest with in the long run. Unfortunately Im finding with todays paperwork within centres that not a lot of time can be just spent one on one with the children so this has played a huge part in my choice. Most of my experience is with under 2's and for that reason my ideal position would be with this age group, although this is not esential as I have also worked a lot with 2-3's.

A little about my experience ...

My current position has consisted of me working the first year in the Nursery (0-2's) and then moving up to the toddlers room (2-3's) for the last few months. My day entails the usual preparation of activites (Cirrculum planning as well as observations) as well as changing nappies, helping at mealtimes, assiting with sleep etc. I currently also babysit every Tuesday night for a little girl in Redfern who is now 2 but i commenced with her when she was one.

While here in Australia i have also worked as a Nursery nurse again in the 0-2's room in a childcare centre based in Epping, where again I assisted with Feeding, Changing, sleeping etc. I was also an Au Pair for a wonderful family in Castlecrag spending 6months with them looking after their little boy, I then worked as a before school nanny for two little girls in Winston hills, and have also done some casual work for a lovely family in Chatswood, caring for their 6month old boy and as a casual nanny in bondi for a 4month old boy.

Whilst living in Perth 2years ago I also worked there as a nanny caring for a 1year old girl 3days a week.

Back in Ireland I worked at the same childcare centre for two years before persuing my travels to Australia, there I worked with all age groups, but the vast majority of my time was again spent with the under 2's.

I have copies of my police clearance and also my national police check. I am more than happy to send my Resume and Qulaifications upon request!
