As for my experiences, I have babysat my youngest sister (who is 7 years younger than me) since I was 9yo, mostly when our parents started to think that I was reliable enough to look after my sisters in their absences.

Ideally, I would like to work 1-2 part time jobs and the occasional babysitting when I can make myself available.
