I am a fouth year medical student and have been an accredited Austswim teacher (ages 6months to 12 years) for 3 years. I am the eldest of 4 children and many cousins so am very experienced with caring for children of all ages and personalities. I love working with kids and my paediatric terms have been my favourite in my medical studies - and the most fun!

I began babysitting my siblings when I was 12 years old, and gradually moved onto cousins and friends/friends of friends as I grew older and more experienced. I have cared for newborns through to primary school aged children, and have some experience with autistic children.

I am flexible with rates, depending on duties. I am also flexible with dates and times if given notice. E.g. on Tuesdays I can do 7am-6pm with notice. I am available all day on weekends during school holidays.

I am super friendly and known at my swim-school as the "baby queen" who makes goofy faces to entertain the kids but can stay calm and smile in the face of any tantrum, diffusing even the most stressful situations.

I have had a lot of experience with child care over the past 3 years with children aged 4 months to 8 years old. In 2008 i was a part time nanny for a family in Tamarama with 3 children for just over 13 months and spent majority of the time looking after a baby from 4 months to around 1 and a half years old. For the past 2 years i have been a part time nanny for a wonderful family in Bellevue Hill who, when i first started, their 2 boys were 2 weeks old and 2 years old. I had many experiences with this family over the duration of the 2 years i worked for them including lengthy stays with the children at their family home whilst the parents were away and running their day to day lives and also lots of travel domestically and overseas to Switzerland and Singapore for 1 month. I feel extremely comfortable looking after children and i am a very responsible and organised person. I grew up in Bondi with my family and have a sibling who is 8 years younger than me so i have a natural instinct to care for younger children.
