My usual hours have been from 7am till 6pm Monday to Friday plus some extra babysitting on the weekends.

I'm still in very good contact with all the families I used to work for and they're more than happy to
give a reference or answer any questions concerning my nannying abilities :)

I've got a valid drivers license and a clear driving record. I am very comfortable driving in and around Sydney as my former nanny jobs required a lot of driving but of course I'm also happy to walk the children to their activities or school as I'm a very active and outdoorsy person.

On the other hand I always loved to work with children.
For starters; I did many internships at my university (teaching and
leading sports) I thought kids how to play soccer, judo in between the ages 3 and 22. And some if these children had diffrent kinds of disabilities
like ADHD and PPD-NOS. I also thought on diffrent schools like
elementary schools, high schools and college from age till 17. I
really loved working with children and also trough my teaching they've asked me to babysit on a few children which I did for a couple of years in the ages of 5 and 11years.

Additionally, during the summer of 2009, I worked as a Counselor at Eagle Springs Programs in Pensylvania, USA. It's a camp for adults with mental and physical disabilities. I had a rich and rewarding experience at the camp; it has changed my life perspective and vision,
and has motivated me to learn more about people with special needs and about the ways I could help them. I am especially interested in confronting the barriers that people with disabilities has to overcome
to fully integrate with society. Being a camp Counsellor significantly improved my communication skills, my patience and taking initiative.

My latest job back home involved doing social work with children and adults with mental and physical disabilities. I worked in 2 homes
where I was responsible for 5 people each home. Also worked in 2
groups at the activity Center with 7 people each group. What did I do when I worked? I had to get them out of bed, help them take shower and dress them. After that feed them, change nappies and in evening help feeding them, activities and put them into bed. I gave them medication if needed. During the day we did activities such as playing games, walking or we went for a ride on bike. With special occasions we would take then for a day out.

The last au pair jobs in Australia I worked for lovely family's with 3 or 4 children in the age between 1.5 and 8years. Here I took on the day and sometimes night care and did a lot of things such as household, entertain children, help children to do there homework brought and pick up from preschool and school, brought them to sports
feed them and changed their nappies and sometimes I was taking care of the children the whole weekend.

To sum up, I believe I am very capable of taking care of your kids and give them all my attention and love. It's wonderful to know one is
helping and making a positive change in someone else's life. I'm sure it would be amazing to be a part of your family.

I think this would give me a great opportunity to improve my language skills and also learn more about the Australian ways of life.
