For the past 10 years child care has been the industry I have chosen to work in. The satisfaction i get in working with children is why I love & continue to do my job. For the past 3 yrs i have been employed in a sole charge position for a wonderful family in willoughby with 3 children currently aged 3, 6 & 8yrs. Prior to that i ran my own family day care business in the Hunter Valley for 2 years. Over those 2 years i dealt with 15 families on a weekly basis with children ranging in age from 4mths - 5yrs. Before that I was a private nanny (sole charge) for 3 years. I am looking for casual weekend/friday night babysitting.

Hello my name is Ashleigh. In 2006 i completed my HSC at Oakhill College. I am 22 years old. I have been interested in working with children for a long time. I have had previous experience babysitting children before. I have worked for Telstra Anytime ( FFA - Football Federation of Australia ) this involved coaching young children in soccer. My duties were to look after these young children for an hour and teach them the basic skills of soccer. I have worked in several child care centres over the years and loved them all, however in the past year I have found that working with a family is much more satisfying and enjoyable as I have the opportunity to get to know the children better, as well as their families. I enjoy interacting with children and helping them learn. I enjoy doing arts and crafts with children. as well as dancing and singing and out door activities. I have worked for a lovely family within their own home for over a year now and I have just started my own child care business which I will be running from my own home located in Baulkham Hills. I will be open from 6am till 6pm every monday tuesday and wednesday and am available on weekends as well when mums and dads need some well earned peace and quiet! I have had my driver's licence for almost 4 years now and I have my own car. I also have a gorgeous little puppy Harby who absolutely loves children! She has accompanied me to work for the past year and the children absolutely adore her. I find her to be very encouraging when it comes to outside play. She has also proven to be very helpful when trying to teach children about kindness as well as nurturing.
