Hello prospective families,

My name is Maia and I am a 24yr old Australian girl in her 2nd last year of ece teaching studieis, with four year of nannying experience.

I have been caring for children since the age of ten, doing general babysitting. Realising that i wanted to become a teacher i started volunteering at childcare centres when i was young(i did almost 3 yrs at lady gowrie whilst studying through high school and college).

I have worked for families in the UK,Spain and many here in Australia(Mosman,Rose bay,Bondi Beach and my current job in Queens Park). I have also spend a few months working within a Jewish childcare centre which was an amazing experience!

I currently live in Bondi Junction and work for a family in Queens Park with 3 children(9,4 and 3) the 3 year old has mental and physical disabilities meaning that he is at the level of a one year old child.

I enjoy planning stimulating activities for all children, baking and cooking nutritious meals, helping out with homework and generally just having fun with children :)

My partner and I are in the process of relocating to Canberra for a job opportunity for him. I am looking for jobs around the CBD area, Please contact me for any information or if you believe you could become my new family. I will be living in canberra from july 2012.
