Jess ~ Bruce

Hi, my name is Jess and I am 20 years old. I am from Young, NSW, however moved to Canberra to study a Bachelor of Education (Primary) in which I am in my second year. I enjoy playing sport (tennis, netball, swimming, touch football) and spending time outdoors. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

I have a current first aid certificate and am looking forward to doing an AUS swim course throughout this year.

Previously I was employed as a tennis coach, for a number of years in my local town. This involved working with children from aged 4 to 16. I found this to be very rewarding; it was always a challenge and something that requires a great deal of patience.
From May 2011 I have been employed by Randstad Education, working as a casual child care assistant at various childcare centres and afterschool care around the ACT. Teaching children aged from 6 months to 5 years. I find this line of work fulfilling and challenging.
I completed my first practicum placement in 2011 in an ACT primary school. This made me realise even more so that this is the career in which I want to pursue. I will complete my second placement in 2012.

Becoming a caregiver would be fulfilling as it is in the line of work in which I am pursuing. I would work to my highest possible standard and complete any training that will be beneficial and give me a greater understanding of the job, as well as benefiting me as a pre-service teacher as I learn and develop skills in which I will use during my teaching career. I am reliable, self motivated, honest and hardworking. I enjoy challenging myself, setting high goals and always give 110% to achieve them. I believe in nurturing a child’s development, routine and most of all being HAPPY!

I am looking for a job; part time, nanny, babysitter. I am available Tuesday to Friday and some weekends if notice is given in advance. I am happy to work the hours needed on these days. I am willing to do housework. I also have a car and am willing to drive e.g. sports, appointments.

Hello I'm Beth Morgan and currently studying a teaching degree at UC. I have recently transferred down from Sydney where I have been working as a nanny full time this past year. I have at least 3 years prior to that working with children both in public settings (vacation care/after school care) and also private residencies (nanny/casual babysitter).

My most recent position I worked with three children from the same family from ages 6months to 6years. I had sole responsibility of all the children and all duties revolving around them. Whether it be entertaining, supervising activities and games both indoor and outdoor (including swimming in pools), driving to required locations, taking to doctors appointments, preparing meals, light house keeping duties, running errands putting down for sleeps, bathing among many other roles.
