Full-time Daytime Work ~ Melbourne

A young family of four are seeking a full time housekeeper to look after their new home! The house is located in Toorak with the duties including general cleaning and laundry as well as other household assistance as required.

You will need to be able to demonstrate a passion for cleaning and keeping the house in order to ensure the very best of standards are kept. The ability to prioritise and work productively via a system is also essential.

The family are looking to employ a long term housekeeper who will benefit from up to 6 weeks of holidays per year, excellent working conditions and an attractive market based salary package.


Your key responsibilities will include:

• Vacuuming
• Dusting and wiping all hard surfaces
• Making the beds and stripping when required
• Laundry and ironing
• Detailed cleaning of the kitchen
• Rubbish duties
• Arranging and removing flowers
• Mail collection
• Cleaning door mats
• Putting clothes on the line
• Preparing children’s meals and cleaning afterwards as required

Other Skills: You will need to demonstrate the ability to be proactive and have a fantastic work ethic along with a willingness to go above and beyond to maintain the house with pride. You will be trustworthy, loyal, fantastic with children and animals and be in good health to manage the role. You will be required to work Monday to Friday 10am until 6pm and be flexible. You will need to supply excellent references, a current drivers licence and complete a police check.
