BRUNSWICK WEST -I am looking for a Nanny to care for my 1 yo and 4yo (and a little bit of time with my 10yo after school) 25-30 hours a week, commencing in June 2012, for a 6 month position.
We are a happy family and our children are bright and active.
Our 4 yo loves building cubbies, sandpit time, acrobatics and drawing. Our 1 yo loves reading books, dancing and being loose in the back yard. Our 10yo is quiet and sensitive.
I have come from a background in Child development and so have applied these approaches to raising my children, such as postive reinforcement, self esteem building and action learning. A knowledge of these and other modern child raising practices eg attachment parenting approaches, would be an advantage.
I am looking for someone who is nurturing, able to genuinely care for the children, prepare them meals, help them grow and learn about the word, do light household duties and likes to organise things(toys etc).
Expected hours are:
Monday 9am-4.30pm
Wednesday 9.15-5.00pm
Thursday 11.30am-4.30pm
Friday 9.15-4.30pm
There is some scope for negotiation for the right applicant.
