Part-time Afterschool Care ~ Ascot Vale

CHILD CARE MINDER NEEDED
4 DAYS A WEEK
ASCOT VALE/ESSENDON AREA

We are seeking a person four days a week to pick up a young child from school and provide care in the child’s home until the parent returns from work.

Min hours are 3 -5pm four days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

The suitable person will be able to extend these hours each day if the parent is not able to be home by five.

As well as providing excellent care for the child, the person will be expected to take on light duties such as folding, ironing, cleaning. The occasional meal may also be required if the parent is late home.

There may also be work for longer hours during school holidays.

The ideal person will have:

• Many years experience in caring for a child.
• Ability to really engage with a child.
• Full drivers license and sound vehicle.
• Availability from 3pm onwards for four days a week.
• References to demonstrate work ethic.
• Police check.
