We are a professional couple with a well natured 11 month-old boy. We are looking for the right person who can be our nanny for 3 days a week (Mon, Thursday, Friday) from 8.15 – 5.30pm. Close to Brisbane city.
Ideally, the person would be mature and experienced, must possess a current drivers licence and car and have a current first aid certificate or have an attitude to obtain a certificate. Must be a non-smoker.
The nanny's duties would include:
1. Caring for our son;
2. Light household duties, such as meal preparation for the boys, tidying up boy’s play area, general tidy up and mopping/vacuuming (as the children are crawling), occasional light grocery shopping, folding and putting away clothes.
3. We are looking for a reliable person with experience looking after multiple young children and who is happy to take them for walks, go to the park and library etc.
Some childcare qualifications are preferred but not essential however we do require an experienced individual. We require someone to start mid-June, 2012, but ideally we would engage you for a few hours before then to familiarise you with us, and the routine.
We would also prefer someone who is available for occasional weekend work and/or evening babysitting on a casual basis, but again this not essential. Thank you!
Other Skills: There may be an option at some point to also care for the child of a family friend on a part time basis however this arrangement has not been finalised.
