I need someone to care for my healthy, curious and smiley 9 month old boy in my home, from around 10am-3pm, 2-3 days per week (Thursday and Friday particularly), while I finish my thesis. Position available until June 19, when I visit the US.
Light housework also required (when he naps) - sterilisation of bottles, washing up, laundry, rubbish bins.
Must have references and experience with infants. Child development or nursing experience a plus.
Other Skills: A foreign language, especially Japanese or Mandarin, a plus. If you have an 8-10 month old child of your own, you're welcome to bring him/her.

We are seeking a back-up / casual Nanny for two families based in Asquith and Hornsby Heights.
Both families have separate childcare arrangements in place with wonderful nannies, but require a backup person able to step in during times when either one of the nannies is unavailable to care for the children. Please note that the role would not involve looking after the children for both families at the same time. We would also like to offer the person occasional babysitting opportunities. No housework is required.
The children are aged between 1 and 4 (two girls 1 & 3, two boys 2 & 4). We are seeking a reliable, responsible and experienced person who is also comfortable with the presence of pets (dog). In essence, this role is a casual backup role with no guarantee of a certain amount of hours per week/month. It would therefore suit a person who would be available within a short notice at random times. Ideally you'd live locally.
