This position is for after school care two days per week - Monday and Thursday which may extend to a further day from September. We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy person to collect our kids (9 y.o. girl and 6 y.o. boy) from their schools in the Gungahlin area, take them to an after school activity and then bring them home, supervise homework and their basic chores and then be happy to play with them. We are looking to find someone outgoing, caring and responsible to look after our two beautiful girls (5yr and 2yr). We live in a large house in Hackett and are looking for someone to work as a part-time nanny on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The hours are 8am until 5pm. Our 2 year old is at home full time, and still sleeps two hours in the middle of the day. Our 5 year old is at preschool full time and would require drop off and pickup. Light cooking and tidying would be required, but we have a weekly cleaner - so nothing heavy.
We would ideally like someone who was happy to work one or two night a week as well, although this wouldn't be every week and would be negotiated and paid for separately.
Live in is also an option as we have a large, private guest room downstairs with it's own entry and ensuite.

Hi,My husband and I are looking for a babysitter for our beautiful 5year old James and 7 year old Emilie. Our children would require nannying for 5 days next week. It would involve 2 hours in the morning, and 4 hours in the afternoon to drop off and pick up. Emilie and James go to the boys grammar 5 days a week and we could also use your help in getting them ready.
We require the person who looks after our precious children to be caring, kind, patient, understanding, have a sense of humour, and be VERY reliable, as it would be extremely hard for us to make alternative arrangements should the babysitter not be able to make it to work. It is also important that the babysitter is able to cook dinner (not for the whole family, but for the children), as we feel that James and Emilie's nutrition is very important and we are often not home/available to do so. Of lesser importance would be the housekeeping. Our only expectation is that the children's toys/rooms etc be kept in order. …

Our 2.75 year old son (turning 3 in October) and 4.5 year old daughter (who turned 4 this March just gone) are looking for a fun, child-savvy and safety-oriented individual to care for them in our home, 2 days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday at present as they are at child-care the other 3 days of the week). If you like us and we like you, the role will be 2 days a week until mid-late January, with the possibility of extension. Our kids are used to having someone else care for them, and have had a few au pairs in the past.
In the mornings, after you arrive, they have a small snack, and then do some craft/colouring-in/playdoh. Weather permitting, they might play outside in their very cool cubby, build volcanoes or dig holes and push trucks in their sandpit, write or draw on their giant chalkboard, or collect eggs from our four happy chickens. They then eat a healthy lunch inside.
When my son has his nap, you will have time to do painting, reading, or drawing with our daughter. …
