I am looking for a gentle and responsible person to care for/ play with my 4 year old (Brazilian-Australian) daughter, Sofia, one or two afternoons per week (3-6 hours - I have some flexibility on days/ times), at my home at Lyons. It would be great if you happen to Portuguese or French skills, but the main thing is just to be happy to play and have fun with my daughter, who loves tea parties, dressing up, being read to, puzzles, craft etc. She already has one lovely babysitter on Tuesday afternoons.
I work part-time, mostly from home (research, consultancy) in the afternoons - but also need to be able to go to some external meetings from time to time. The position may suit a student or a mother who wants to bring a child with her.

Hi,My husband and I are looking for a babysitter for our beautiful 5year old James and 7 year old Emilie. Our children would require nannying for 5 days next week. It would involve 2 hours in the morning, and 4 hours in the afternoon to drop off and pick up. Emilie and James go to the boys grammar 5 days a week and we could also use your help in getting them ready.
We require the person who looks after our precious children to be caring, kind, patient, understanding, have a sense of humour, and be VERY reliable, as it would be extremely hard for us to make alternative arrangements should the babysitter not be able to make it to work. It is also important that the babysitter is able to cook dinner (not for the whole family, but for the children), as we feel that James and Emilie's nutrition is very important and we are often not home/available to do so. Of lesser importance would be the housekeeping. Our only expectation is that the children's toys/rooms etc be kept in order. …

This is a fairly straightforward carer role which has been filled by an English former au paur brilliantly for the past several months. She is about to travel starting in July and we need a new carer to start around mid-late July. We are flexible. You could have a handover orientation from our previous carer (and/or reference if you'd like) to make it a smooth transition.
One of the things we have not had, and would really appreciate, is someone who would be interested in turning up, say around 1 or 2 pm prior to the 315 pickup to do an hour or two of light cleaning- a load of clothes washing, dishes, cleaning floors and surfaces. This would add to your income and would be a huge, huge help to our busy family!

Hello to all fun and caring babysitters.
We're looking for someone to help look after our 9yo son and 7yo daughter. The kids are very used to having au pairs/babysitters, they are quite independent and are generally easy to look after.
The kids go to school at Aranda Primary. The time that we most need help for is after school on Mon (3-6pm) and Wed (3-5:30pm) and taken to after school activities. We'd also like for someone to take them to school about twice per week (730-9am, flexible as to which days).
While not our priority, if you're interested, we'd also like some help with housekeeping such as cleaning, washing, ironing and food prep (up to 5 hrs per week). But if this isn't your thing pls don't let it put you off applying.
We'd love to hear from you.
