Hello! My name is Jess and I have been a Drama and English teacher for 5 years. I have been a babysitter and nanny in my spare time since I was 14 years old, and as a part time job while at university, and more recently on a part time basis a couple of days a week.

I have a current Working With Children Check, a current Police Clearance Certificate and a Senior First Aid Certificate.

As a babysitter/nanny I have had experience with children of all ages (0-17) and am comfortable working with any age group. I have always enjoyed working with kids and families as I find the relationships and shared experiences very rewarding.

One of my favourite and most considerable care roles was the 4 years I spent working as a Mum's Helper for a lovely family in Dalkeith; I collected the 4 children from school each day, taxied them to their various after-school activities, assisted with homework, performed light housework duties and on occasion spent the week or two (up to a month) living-in as their sole carer.

I like to have input from parents concerning the types of activities they would like their children to partake in while in my care, particularly in terms of routine, outdoor activities and nutrition.

I am hoping to find a family or families to work with over school holiday periods and part-time (2 full days) nannying during the school term (or, with the right family, full time.) I would also be very happy to take on some casual baby sitting.

In addition to those listed below, my favourite activities include going for walks and to a local park. I also enjoy taking the little ones to Baby Rhyme Time and other organised activities.

I am able to be very flexible in terms of times and days. I am also happy to complete some light housework duties (cooking, laundry, etc) and am also willing to negotiate rates.

*If you know another family who are also looking for a babysitter, I will happily undertake both lots of children together in one location and negotiate a lower hourly rate per family.

I have recently been asked to do overnight stays: for this my rate is $150 for up to 10 hours, with the normal hourly rate applying for any time before or after.

Hi Im Sarah! I have completed my Diploma in childcare and for the last six months I have been working in the industry and am now studying The Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at Curtin University. I am currently living in Perth at the moment, however I will be relocating to Broome in the next month or so as I have family there. Therefore I am looking to find a job in the same field. I love working with children, I am passionate about getting out there and having fun with them as well as providing them with meaningful educational experiences.

I am currently unsure of the babysitting hours, as I am waiting to hear back in regards to a job the availablity will depend on whether I get a full time or casual job. At the moment I will be more than happy for casual night time babysitting and weekends. I charge $25 an hour if the children are mainly asleep and $30 if they are mainly awake, however I am happy to negotiate.
