I have recently moved back to Perth after teaching in Merredin and am working as a relief teacher in Perth schools. Whilst at university I worked as a carer for adults and children with special needs, worked as an Education Assistant and volunteered on many kids camps. I am comfortable preparing healthy tasty meals, assisting with homework, light housework duties, taking children to after school/social activities, assisting with bathing and bedtime routines and engaging children in indoor and outdoor play to stimulate their minds and bodies. I enjoy spending time with children and have often spent periods of time babysitting for family friends and younger cousins. I have cared for children between the ages of 6 and 12 am willing to help care for has younger children too. I have spent a lot of time in primary school classrooms with my mother who teaches and have truly enjoyed it.

I thoroughly enjoy dealing with children and am the eldest of four giving me plenty of experience. I am also a qualified swimming instructor and teach children ages 2-13 giving me that little bit of extra knowledge of how to look after kids. I have worked as a babysitter over the past 6 years, looking after a range of children from newborns to teenagers including children with special needs. I am very flexible and can often work at short notice providing my studies are not sacrificed as I’m sure you will understand. Also, I have no preference for the period of time I am needed and am more than happy to be a casual sitter or on a more permanent basis. Taking the children out for day trips or down to the park is also nit a problem. I don’t mind helping out with the household or pet duties either. I have my license (have never lost a demerits or been involved in an accident) and also my own car.
