I've had many years experience working as a nanny and babysitter both in Australia and overseas including a period in Geneva working for a member of the Italian Royal family.
My other professional background is in editing and public relations so I am useful to help with homework. I am available according to the chart though there would be some dates where the shift would need to be shorter.
My minimum booking is 3 hours and I charge the equivalent of 3 hours fees for a day/evening cancellation that is made with less than 12 hours notice. This fee will be waived if a substitute booking ,equal to the length of the original booking, can be arranged to be worked within the next fortnight.
My evening rate starts at 8 pm and the day rate resumes at midnight .I do not take work that involves using a car to transport children under 3.
Where families combine for babysitting I charge an extra $3 per child per hour from the second family.

I am a 23 year old female who currently has 20 neices and nephews with one more on the way so have plenty of babysitting experience as I started helping when I was three! I have looked after families other than my own, and so am used to dealing with shy children or children apprehensive toward me at first. I have babysat for a 2 month old so am capable of changing a dirty nappy and burping newborns. However, I am also a regular babysitter of a 5, 6 and 10 year old so can find activities for older children to do too.
I have a working with children's check, and have just completed two years as Assistant Coordinator at the OSH program and am now an Integration Aid at Blackburn Lake Primary School which I absolutely love! I have a safe food handler's certificate, have completed my anaphylaxis training, as well as my first aid level two training. I had asthma when I was little, and am a regular babysitter for a family who has a severely asthmatic child.
I attend The Salvation Army church and am a leader for the high-school aged kids as well as helping the under 7's while their parents are in the church, and have done work experience at a childcare centre in Vermont.
I really enjoy my time spent with children, (whether they are a relation or not!), as I think children are great fun and a load of laughs!
I am currently completing my final year of my psychology course, and also work part time at school. I am looking for regular babysitting during the evening and on weekends.
