Hi, my name is Genna Turnbull and I am currently completing my third year of my Bachelor of Education (Primary) degree at RMIT.
I am also currently working as an Integration Aide at a primary school in Moorabbin once-twice a week.
I volunteer on different kids camps and have a passion for Edmund Rice Camps, which have been part of my life for about 4 years now. As a leader on underpriviliged kids camps, Indigenous kids camps and underprivalidged family camps, these camps have taught me about the energy levels of children. I really enjoy playing and running around with kids and generally having fun!
I have also worked overseas at a special needs camp for 3 months in New Jersey, which included tasks such as feeding, bathing, cleaning, dressing and other personal care. I feel very confident in bathing and taking children to bed/reading stories etc, as I pretty much had to do this every night!
I have also worked with Girl Guides Australia, volunteering for some camps as part of extra experience for my course.
