I am 58 years old, divorced,work full time in customer service. I am now living by myself and love kids, therefore would love to fill in my hours of an evening or weekends and help someone else with their family, whilst earning those extra dollars for a holiday or something special. I have just become a Grandmother for the first time, however as my daughter lives in Canberra I will not see my little granddaughter as much as I would like.I have helped with the Sunday school and nursery in my church over the last 10 years. When my own children were little I worked with family day care through the council looking after children at my home.
I can provide a reference from the field officer who I still see from time to time, she was in charge of my area through the council when I was working as a day care mum. I can also get references from people from my church if required. I also have a current working with children card, have had first aid certificates in the past, and are happy to update if required.
