Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hi, I am an experienced carer with many years experience including raising 3 children of my own. I have always loved and cherished being close to babies and young children. I can honestly say I love all the ages finding joy in each stage in their journey as it brings its own uniqueness. Through my own experiences I know when to hold firm and when to let things slide, just a little and sometimes a lot so they feel safe and warm, loved and cared for. At the same time they know boundaries are in place for a very good reason. I’ll cuddle, hold hands, sit close, read books, dance and be fun and silly or give them all the space they need while letting them know I’m there if and when they need me. I have extensive experience with anaphylaxis, and administering medications when required. Mostly I know how tough it is to be a parent, particularly if you are juggling work, relationships and attempting to find the right time for fitness and a social life, oh and, attempting a sane and tidy house! 😊

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I'm Kimberly, I'm a 31 yo professional and married. Proudly Mexican. I would like to be your next babysitter. First of all, I came to Australia with my partner 6 years ago, both studying. I studied English and a Diploma in Social Media Marketing for 1.5 years, we got married here and just renewed our visa until August 2025 which allows me to work full time during the next couple of years. In the professional aspect, I am a freelancer, I like photography, and take care of children and animals. I really enjoy outdoors. Since I have memory I have always been good with children. I have had plenty of cousins and now nephews and nieces. I know in-depth the care and responsibilities involved. For sure I can help you, I learn fast. About my experience here in Australia, My first opportunity was with a family of 4 in Oakleigh (1 month), a boy 9 and a girl 3yo. And then a family of 5 in Brighton, 2 boys 6 and 8yo and a girl 10yo (1 year). Then with a family of 4 looking after a boy and a girl 4 and 2yo in Camberwell (1 year and 7 months) and with a family of 6 looking after 3mo baby and 6yo girl and at the end a new born baby in Fitzroy North (1 year and 3 months). After all of this hard work Im adding another one, an end of an era has came with my last but no least family of 5 looking after 3 awesome girls whose were 7, 4 and 2yo when I started working with them (2 years) in Hawthorn East. Im available full Mondays and Tuesdays and ocasionally any other weekday from 6pm and weekends. My tasks have been to drop them off and pick them up from school or child care, meals prep, clean after kids, supervised the bath/shower time, do homework/homeschool in case we have another lockdown, basically taking care of them every moment. Also I can be a personal shopper/assistant with other duties or errands. When it comes to activities I like to improvise I also fit into their routines which can be going to the beach, park, library, museum, sports training, picnics, competitions, crafts, drawings, movies, cooking, learning spanish, board games, contests. All that and more! With me, you will never lack photographs and videos of your children. Sharing with children has been the most enriching of my days in Australia, it is difficult to be away from home and kids transmit that joy and energy that I need and I can improve my English skills too! Please, do not hesitate to ask for more details and references. I consider myself responsible and honest. Feel free that your children are in good hands. Looking forward to hearing from you and your kids. Happy to provide references as well! Kim

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hi mums and dads! I’m currently completing my Psychology Honours degree and I plan to become a child psychologist. I work as a therapy assistant, working with NDIS children who require additional allied health support. I also babysit casually and have extensive experience working with kids aged 1.5+ onwards! I have previously worked as a kindergarten assistant teacher (for ages 3-6) in Malaysia and tutored primary school-aged kids. I currently babysit for a local family whenever the parents need some time to themselves, looking after two gorgeous boys aged 2 and 4. We play lots of games, read, do arts and crafts and I help out with their nighttime routine. I have always loved kids and my family often say that I have a knack for working with children as kids would often come up to me to play or babysit. I’m energetic, responsible and caring and will always provide a fun and loving environment for your child. I believe in a gentle and nurturing approach to raising kids. Apart from studying and working, I enjoy martial arts and learning different languages. I know 5 different languages (although I wouldn’t say I’m fluent in all of them)! I also love dogs, so if you have a furry friend, I’m all for it! I’m available as a casual babysitter for date nights, evenings or weekends. Message me if you’d like to know more about how I can help your family :) *My rate depends on the time of day & children needing care. My rate starts at $30-35 per hour & I prefer to work a minimum of 3 hours. Thank you.*
