From the ages of 12-18 I babysat for multiple families ranging from newborn to six years of age. At the age of 16, I started a position as nanny and would travel internationally with the family. I stayed with this family for three years. At the age of 20, I worked in a Kids Club at a gym which included entertaining, playing and caring for 6-12 kids at one time. The ages ranged from 6 months to 12 years. For the last nine years, I have been promoted to manage the gym and oversee all staffing, training and safety of the Kids Club. I am close with my baby nieces, little cousins and am often called to help care for them. I love spending time with children. I thoroughly enjoy their company and often feel like a big kid myself!
I am an enthusiastic, caring and creative primary school teacher from the UK who has many years of experience working with children of varying abilities and needs. I have enjoyed working with children aged 6 months - 11 years old and specialise in teaching infant school children.
Prior to becoming a primary school teacher, I worked at a crèche and kindergarten in the UK caring for babies, toddlers and pre-school children and have recently worked at various childcare nurseries (including a Montessori nursery) as a casual relief teacher. When I am not teaching, I also babysit young children and have developed excellent relationships with their families. I love this different role as I relish the opportunity to find out a child’s interests and use them as a basis to create fun activities. I believe keeping a child engaged ensures they have fun with me, encourages positive behaviour and enables me to build up a strong rapport with the child.
Although I enjoyed teaching infant …

Dear Family,My name is Alice, and I am 32 years of age. I grew up on a family farm in Victoria, Australia.I have long worked in a professional capacity with babies, children and their families. Having worked full-time as a Paediatric Social Worker at the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) in Melbourne for a number of years – primarily with the Neonatal Intensive Care Team – during 2014 I chose to balance continued involvement with The Children’s with part-time employment caring for children. Throughout most of 2014 and 2015, I cared for the three year old son and eleven year old daughter of a beautiful family in St Kilda, Melbourne, three days per week. I also cared for a four month old baby girl for at least one morning per week.In late 2015, I moved to Geneva, Switzerland, to be with my then partner (himself Swiss). I am an enthusiastic, reliable and fun loving babysitter and nanny. I am currently studying the Masters of Primary Teaching at Melbourne University, having completed Honours in Linguistics and a Diploma in French last year.
I have 7 years of experience working with children. For the past five years I have cared for children from the age of 8 weeks to 12 years. I still nanny for many of the families I have cared for – even if just one evening a month. In 2009, I worked at a boarding school in England caring for children from 2.5 to 13. During high school (in Adelaide), I worked at a childcare centre caring for children from 3 months to 5 years. I love cooking, going to the park, dressing up and exploring Melbourne. I am particularly skilled at lego and can be very imaginative when it comes to barbies.
I am 22 years old, I'm originally from South Australia but moved away to a boarding school in Geelong when I was 14 and have lived in Melbourne ever since graduating. While at boarding school, I was a prefect which involved supervising younger students study hours, putting them to bed and more. I am currently completing my university placement and will be finishing in mid-feb to go back and complete my final year. While working 9-5 Monday to Friday, I have maintained a casual job in Hospitality on the weekends. This has taught me the importance of routine while making sure that I enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle. I have experience in caring for children including my younger cousins and my now 7 month old niece. Overall, I am an outgoing, caring and accepting person and am very open to new experiences and opportunities.

I used to describe myself as an ATM on wheels. Children always had before (rowing) or after school activities that required funds! I understand how hard it is to juggle everything while holding down a professional position.
When my son was born, I was so unhappy with child care options available I set up my own boutique (15children) child care centre. I closed it down when it was no longer required. However I oversaw the running, employed the staff and was involved in the development plans for the children. So while I have no recognised certificates in this area, I have a lot of experience.I have been in the same craft group for over 30 years where we make the most "creative" objects.
