I am an enthusiastic, caring and creative primary school teacher from the UK who has many years of experience working with children of varying abilities and needs. I have enjoyed working with children aged 6 months - 11 years old and specialise in teaching infant school children.
Prior to becoming a primary school teacher, I worked at a crèche and kindergarten in the UK caring for babies, toddlers and pre-school children and have recently worked at various childcare nurseries (including a Montessori nursery) as a casual relief teacher. When I am not teaching, I also babysit young children and have developed excellent relationships with their families. I love this different role as I relish the opportunity to find out a child’s interests and use them as a basis to create fun activities. I believe keeping a child engaged ensures they have fun with me, encourages positive behaviour and enables me to build up a strong rapport with the child.
Although I enjoyed teaching infant …

I want to be able to pass on any achievements or anecdotes of the child just as I really want to work together to help the child work on behaviour that isn’t as desirable. As I have worked with so many different families I have developed a no nonsense approach to caring for children which is based on mutual respect and agreed upon …
