Hi! My name is Kelsey and I love taking care of children. I am a full time student, entering my fourth year of study in Law/Psychological Science.

I have been very blessed over the last year to have had the opportunity to work with so many different children, and so many different families. I currently work for five families on a casual basis and children in these familes range from 3 months old - 8 years of age. My work has varied from being the main carer for children over the day, helping parents over dinner/bath time or working in the evening while the children are in bed. I regularly prepare meals for the children, organise activities, take them on outings (park/library etc), bathe children and put them to bed! So I pretty much have experience in every part of a childs day..

I am extremely confident in my ability to provide care for children of any age. Most of the babysitting I am confident that I would be able to adapt to any situation and any specific needs your child has.

I am a very bubbly and outgoing person and love to cook. I would be more than happy to help out with household duties - including cooking and would love to conduct some fun cooking activities with your children - if that was something you would be appreciate me doing.

I enjoy babysitting as I feel it brings a lot of joy and accomplishment into my life.
I have been a babysitter for the past 3 years, 2 and a half of which I looked after 4 boys (newborn - 6 years) until they moved to Geelong.
I do currently babysit a 2 year old girl, 8 year old boy and 10 year old girl. I babysit this job once a week if anything and I understand that this may pose as an issue for my availability. Another issue that may pose a problem with my availabilities is University.
I have two weeks of this semester left followed by a month off and then my timetable will change again after that (feel free to ask me for my timetable!)
I am also currently unavailable on May 17-18, 24-25, July 19-20, 26-27, August 2-3, 9-10, 16-17 and 23-24 (which are Thursdays and Fridays) as I have to attend placement for University.
Apart from this, I am also unavailable every second Friday from 10am-1pm as I work for Down Syndrome Victoria. Also unavailable one Sunday a month for this same reason from 10am-3pm.
I do plan to also travel but not until mid or late next year for a month.
I appologise for possibly sounding extremely inflexible but I can assure you I am as flexible as I possibly can be and am also flexible with rates!
Enough with the possible negatives and now for some positives :)
My current and previous babysitting jobs have included caring for children with Down Syndrome.
I bath, feed, entertain (keep the kids busy), light housework, like cooking (sandwhiches and pasta), put kids to bed and assist with homework just off the top of my head.
I do not have my lisence as of yet but am working towards it :)
I have a current police check and working with childrens check and am willing and wanting to obtain my first aid certificate.
I have a bubbly, happy, patient, responsible and understanding personality :)
I am willing to catch public transport and walk to where I need to be, my mum is also great at dropping me off and picking me up!
I will happily provide you with references :)
I have a can do attitude and believe I use my initiative well!
