I am a fully qualified Social Care Worker and hold a honours degree from Ireland but my passion has always been working with young children. Although I did not study childcare, my Social Care degree care prepared me greatly for working in this area. I studied subjects such as Health and wellbeing, Child psychology, Child protection, Family Law and Challenging behaviour.

I applied for a temporary position in a Montessori "Ardtona House School". Here I worked with the two kindergarten classes fulltime. When the small children finished up I would then go into the older groups and assist with them. I worked here for 5 months and really enjoyed every minute of it.

For the past year I have worked as a classroom assistant in St. Gerard's Junior School. Here I was working in the Junior Infants classroom fulltime as well as undertaking yard duty every lunchtime. I organised art work with the children, read them stories, listened to their reading. If the teacher was absent for a day or just out of the classroom I would take the class on my own. I also worked with the summer camp this past summer for 2 weeks, I was responsible for organising and supervising lots of activities for the children. I learnt so much this past year about working with children but educating them also. I am really hoping I get the chance in the next few years to study as a primary or kindergarten teacher.

I am working for Camp Australia as a after school carer. My hours are casual. I would love to secure a full day work of babysitting along side this. Or evening work, as I am not gettin enough hours.

I have my children's check card. I have booked into a level 2 first aid course as well as the Anaphylaxis course also. Working with children is what I really want to do here in Melbourne. I am a hard working, punctual, responsible, fun and caring young woman.

I am originally from Tasmania and moved to Melbourne 4 years ago to study a Bachelor of Business (Sport and Leisure Management) at university. I am 22 years old and have had many years of babysitting/nannying experience.

I have many young cousins for whom I have babysat for on a regular basis over the last five years and just adore them. I also did full time nannying for 6 months for a family with 3 children in 2011; which I loved. I have cared for children ranging from 2 months old to 15 years old in this timeframe and would be more than willing to help any family who lives in a relatively close proximity to myself.

I am a very caring, outgoing, friendly and passionate person who has a love for children. I am also a very tidy person who would be more than willing to do some housekeeping duties such as ironing and the washing.

I love children and I have had a lot of experience with them as my past jobs have involved, Learn to swim teaching (children aged 3-8) and working in a nursery in England with children between 2-19.
