My name is Jessie, I am a caring and loving person currently studying a Master's of Art Therapy at La Trobe University.

I enjoy babysitting as I love children and meeting new people. I have experience babysitting family; my two younger cousins as they grew up from ages 3 and 8 to now 9 and 14. I have also babysat for another family whose three children were 6, 12 and 15.

I have a degree in Fine Art where I majored in painting. Whilst I was studying my undergraduate degree (in Sydney at the National Art School) I worked with children as an assistant at a small, privately run art workshop. My name is Katie and I have been living in Melbourne for just over a year now. I have been working as a temp administrator but am struggling with the lack of stimulation and miss working with kids! I am currently working in online marketing from 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, so I am looking for perhaps a couple of nights a week and maybe a day in the weekend.
My experience with children includes working at a school holiday program during highschool and university, where I was in charge of the arts department, various temporary Nannying jobs and relief work at a kindergarten.
I have always volunteered for a Charity called Cure Kids during their events where groups of terminally ill children were brought along with their parents. I worked with charity staff and nurses to ensure the kids were well taken care of, happy and safe.
My varied experience means that I have strong understanding of the general abilities and interests of children of many ages. Being a creative, I have a strong interest in arts and crafts which has always proven so helpful in keeping children stimulated and occupied.
I am energetic, flexible, caring and patient and absolutely adore working with kids. I can easily manage the chaos and mess that often comes with it all.
I am a great cook, I don't mind helping out around the house either!
