Hi, I'm Tori, a friendly and experienced nanny and babysitter. I have a strong interest in children's development and I am currently undertaking my honours studies in educational and developmental psychology.
I have always loved working with children and I endeavour to ensure your children really enjoy the time they spend with me. I pride myself on being VERY reliable, responsible and honest, and have an understanding of how much families depend on their nanny or babysitter. I have a wealth of experience in terms of working with children; I have been nannying for over 5 years and babysitting for 8. I have also worked in other children-centered jobs such as ballet teaching, lifesaving, as a fairy for children's parties, a manager at a children's toy shop and as a children's services assistant in a library! I have worked with all ages, from newborns to teenagers. I enjoy coming up with creative activities to keep your little ones entertained and happy, from craft activities to outings to the park, story time, singing (out of tune!) and dancing! I have extensive first aid qualifications which I am continually building upon; including EPIPEN, level 2 first aid, asthma management, and more. I have a recent police check and "working with children" card. And, most importantly, I LOVE KIDS! Over the years I have developed wonderful relationships with the families I work for.

I am currently looking for casual or regular daytime or evening work in addition to my regular nannying job. Also interested in afterschool shifts (Thursday, Friday) or before school shifts (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Primary Education at Deakin University and am in my second year. my name is Mikaela and i am currently studying my first year of nursing. As a child growing up my mother was a day care mum so i have grown up with children constantly in my house. At the age of 9 my mother had her second child and i was responsible for alot of my sisters care due to my mother returning to work. I worked as a part of the after schools program. This involved teaching sports to children after school. At the age of 18 i traveled to Holland and was a full time live in au pair for a family with two boys 2 and 4. i lives with the family for 9 mothes before returning to Australia. When i returned i babysit for a family with a 2 year old boy every weekend. I was also a nanny for a family with 5 home schooled children where i would stay over the night to help with daily living. I am willing to cook, cleen, bathe,teach and play. I am a very energetic playfull person and i love working with children! I have a working with childrens check and a poliece check not to mention 10 years of experience.
