I have always found communication with even the youngest of kids to be easy and believe that working with children is extremely rewarding as you become a role model, and someone they look up to. Being the eldest of five, I’ve grown up looking after my siblings; doing everything from changing nappies and getting up to them in the middle of the night as a nine year old, to cooking dinner and making sure that the entire household ran smoothly. Since I was 13, I have worked as a babysitter for neighbours, friends and family. From January 2015 to December 2016, I worked as a dance teacher for children aged 5 to 14.
