Hi I am a 22yr old uni student looking for some extra work as a babysitter/nanny. I have a lot of experience with children. I have 3 younger siblings I have helped care for. In 2010 I spent 3 months in South America teaching and caring for primary school age children. Last year, 2011, I spent the year working as a home tutor and assistant nanny for two children 8 and 6, on a property in North Qld. My duties included preparing healthy meals, teaching the children through Distance Education, engaging the children in reading, creative play, art and sports activities and looking after the children day/night when their parents were away at sales. I have worked as a babysitter since 2006 for various families, beginning with my family, then private services. I have cared for children from newborn to 12 years inclusive and have looked after anywhere from 1 child to 6 children at a time. Over this time, I have helped these children with their homework, cooked, cleaned, bathed, played etc. with the kids.
