Recent casing history.
Various cases through Dial-an-Angel agency including the following:
.Mother with 3 children (including 3 month old)who was experiencing panic attacks- approx.2 weeks until mother felt confident.
.7 month old baby suffering from reflux problems- approx 1 week
.Sole charge of 2 boys of 10 and 13 while parents were overseas for approx 3 weeks. This entailed taking boys to and from school each day, various music lessons, shopping and cooking meals.
.13 day case with 3 children, 2x12 year olds and 1x8year old -parents overseas. Children at 3 different schools and needed to be taken to multiple activities as well as care of chooks, guinea pigs and budgie!!
Past experience includes:
.Governess to 7 Portuguese children in Portugal aged from 18months to 12years old (6 months)
.Taking premature newborn home with mother to remote Cape York cattle property with 110 degree temperatures.
.Looking after 6 children under 7 (including a newborn) while parents were overseas for 6 weeks.
Also used my childcare knowledge and experience while working for Qantas internationally as a Flight Attendant.
This is in addition to having raised 3 children of my own and helping with my grandchildren of 6,4 and 2 and a premi-newborn.
I live in rural Queensland, less than 2 hours from Brisbane. I am happy to travel as far as Sydney or Melbourne. My preferred cases would be short term (1-2 weeks)sole charge cases (live in).
My fees are $250/day for 2 children and $20 per extra child. This is for a 24 hour day.
