I am currently studying a Bachelor of Arts and next year a graduate diploma in education, to become a primary school teacher. I love working with children and have been babysitting a range of kids from 6 month babies to 10 year olds for a long time. Most recently I’ve been a permanent part-time nanny for 2 ½ years looking after a 5 year old boy and 7 year old girl. My duties included school pick up and drop off, playing with the children and taking them on small excursions such as picnics and going to the art gallery, supervising their homework, cooking the children’s dinner, bathing and getting them to bed and some housework duties. I also temporarily lived-in, for weekends or a week when needed and I’m capable and happy to do this. I have my own car, and through my teaching degree I will next year be getting a blue card and first aid certificate. I am reliable, fun, patient and flexible and am happy to provide referees.

I am currently a medical student at UQ and I have years of experience with kids of all ages. Because of the relationships I've built with the children and families I've babysat for over the years, I'd really like to eventually go into Paediatrics after I graduate.

I lived in Australia once before for six months and fell in love with the culture. I am excited to return and hope to find a family to work for and get to know during my stay.
