Hi I'm Kate and I have been babysitting for over 10 years. During that time I have had the opportunity to care for so many lovely children across a wide range of ages. I enjoy engaging children with activities and outings to keep their minds and bodies active. I am also a hard worker and do not mind doing housework if needed. While I am not currently a registered carer or first aid certified, I am initiating the process to complete both of these. I understand that every family and child is different so it's important to find the right carer that connects perfectly. I can't wait to meet your wonderful children and I am sure we will find that perfect fit.
I am a responsible person, honest, hard worker and easygoing, I enjoy working with children, and I am pretty comfortable working around them, my experience as a mum and au pair had given me the skills to work as a child care worker.
I am a student currently taking a deferred period due to health problems (resolved), previously studying a Bachelor of Engineering at UQ and hoping to study a Bachelor of Psychological Science with the view to medicine and psychiatry. I am enthusiastic about care, and have a passion for working with people. I am happy to adhere to any specific demands (such as pick up and drop off), and am happy to do any other subsequent tasks (e.g. cleaning). Furthermore I have extensive experience of working with people due to a previous waitressing job at Wild Canary (Brookfield) as well as having experience in a pharmacy. Overall, I am an enthusiastic person who loves working with people and have a passion for childcare.
