I am a 23 year old female Canadian currently working as a registered nurse and looking for some casual or temporary work as a nanny or a babysitter. I've always loved working with kids but I never got the opportunity to work very much in pediatrics as a nurse. I did a ~ 3 years of babysitting children aged 1-9 before I started my career as a nurse and I would love to be involved in another family in the same way. I would feel even more comfortable doing this now because of my experiences as a nurse and working with both disabled children and new mothers/newborns.

I'm very flexible with my hours, days, rates and I'm open to either casual babysitting or part-time nanny (or anything in between!)However, I am presently doing Wednesday nanny work for a family, so I cannot do Wednesdays. I'm also happy to get some housework done for you if you need it.

Prior to moving to Brisbane i went to the University of the Sunshine Coast, studying a Bachelor of Primary Education. After 6 months i decided to defer. However, this year I am returning to complete the course, commencing study in semester two and will be commuting until i can attend university here in Brisbane. I also have my Blue Card which i received in the first semester of my course, this card allows me to work with children. I attended school at Good Shepherd Lutheran College. I graduated in 2011 and during my year twelve year i was allocated House Captain. This position required me to do a lot of activities with younger children. I also have a niece aged 6 and a nephew aged 8 who i babysit on a regular basis. I am very reliable. I have a car and also live close to public transport. I am able to babysit during the week on my days off at university, on weekends and at night. I believe that I am a responsible, mature and friendly person who would love the opportunity to babysit.
