Hi Families! Let me introduce myself. My name is Susan and I’m 24 years old. I’m an Irish girl originally from Dublin but have lived here in sunny Australia the past 4 and a half years. I currently reside in Balmain.

I am currently working full time in the 0-2's room in an awesome Childcare centre in Leichardt, but would also like to take up some adhoc work babysitting on weeknights and weekends(either day or night).

I am a qualified childcare worker and hold a Cert IV in Childrens Services and am currently studying Child Psychology via correspondence as well as studying to finish my Diploma in Childrens services. I have always had a genuine interest in working with children and have vast experience working in childcare over the past 6years.

A little about my experience ...

I have over two years experience working in a childcare centre back home, caring for all ages but spent most of my time there caring for my own room of 6 toddlers and quite a bit of time with the babies.

While here in Australia i have worked as an Au Pair for a wonderful family in Castlecrag spending 6months with them looking after their little boy, I then worked as a before school nanny for two little girls in Winston hills, and have also done some casual work for a lovely family in Chatswood, caring for their 6month old boy and as a casual nanny in bondi for a 4month old boy.

I have also worked as a Nursery nurse for a year caring for 0-2's within a centre in Epping, I finished up last June. So I have plently of experience with feeding and changing etc.

And whilst living in Perth for 3months I also nannied for a beautiful one year old little girl.

I would ideally love to work with under 2's but this is definitely not essential.

I hold first aid and will be renewing it again soon and have also obtained police clearance. I am more than happy to forward my Resume with attached referances and Qualifications upon request.
