My passion for working with children has led me to registering with find a babysitter. After working as a baby sitter throughout high school its flexible hours and fun environment only makes me appreciate the job more. During my high school years I have mostly looked after toddlers and less than 10 years of age children however feel I am more than qualified to work with any type of child no matter what age or how demanding. Ideally I am looking for as much work as possible on a quite permanent roster for an approximate length of a year; however this is a negotiable and a flexible requirement. My duties can be as little as the typical baby sitter (such as looking after the children when you, the parents, are out) to much broader tasks such as taking the children places (pick up and drop off’s), washing, shopping, house work, dog walking, general house and garden maintenance (of which I have experience in all). Hi! I am a uni student at UNSW, Kensington. Whilst creating my resume for a part-time/casual position that would fit with my studies, I realised that I have a lot of experience and really enjoy working with primary aged children and so thought that being a casual afternoon babysitter for 1-3 afternoons a week would be the perfect job!

I have been babysitting for local families since the age of fourteen. I have also done a lot of volunteer work with children such as assisting at my local primary school's after school care and being a camp leader on a week long Edmund Rice Camp.

I enjoy acting, singing and dancing and have had lessons since I was three years old as well as completing drama as one of my HSC subjects so i love to use these skills to have fun and play with children. I also enjoy painting, craft and baking. I think these interests allow me to interact with children in a fun, imaginative and stimulating way and offer an alternative to just letting them watch TV!

I don't drive but I like to be active and so am happy to pick up the children from school, walk home, walk to any afternoon activities and go for plays in the park, kicking the ball etc. (I love dogs btw!). I am also happy to supervise and help the children with their homework and prepare afternoon snacks.
