Having recently moved to Sydney for masters study, I had to tearfully say goodbye to the family in Canberra that I have been a part time nanny to for the last 6 years! The two boys were just 6 months and 2 years old when I started in 2005 – these days they have all of their “big front teeth” and lots of personality!! Their mother, Helen, would be more than happy to provide a reference and vouch for my genuine rapport with children and famous reliability.

Here in Sydney, I have been lucky enough to find a wonderful nanny position with a lovely family three days a week (Mon/Wed/Thurs), which is working out beautifully. The two girls are one year old and three years old and I have been with them since October. I am currently looking for some additional evening babysitting to couple with this.

As a nanny it is important to me that parents come home to happy children and a tidy house! To that end, I make an enormous effort to engage the children I look after in laughter, joy and learning. I also believe in maintaining high standards of safety and a respectful environment for all.
