I am a professional nanny with 19 years childcare experience and references. I have my childcare and current First aid certificates, also my current working with children check and current police Check. I am a mother of a 27 year old son. I'm a non-smoker and I have my Drivers License (which I've held for over 20 years). I also have my own car. I have experience working in childcare centres, nannying, before and after School care and babysitting. I have worked with children aged 0 - 13 years, (and up to 19 years of age.) I am generally a neat, clean and tidy person by nature, so I like to keep things/the place in order at all times. I'm also very safety and hygiene contious so I always practice good hygiene measures and ensure the safety of the children in my care, families and myself at all times and even more so due to our current covid19 situation. I am willing to do light house duties/chores. I can cook. I am also pet friendly and comfortable with pets such as dogs and cats. I reside in Kensington and I am very familiar with the eastern suburbs and surrounding areas such as south east, inner city, inner west, etc. I'm also familiar with parks, Libraries, playgroups in these areas and the need/benefits for children to attend these activities. I am both an indoor and outdoors person so I like to take children out to parks and walks as I believe it is beneficial for children to be outdoors to enjoy nature and explore and learn from the environment surrounding them. I also like being indoors if needed (due to rain). When indoors I like to engage the children in activities such as art and craft, collage, drawing, painting, manipulating play dough reading books, music, singing, dancing and yoga, also activities of their own interest ie, cars, blocks, Lego, dolls, even a cooking experience. I have been a nanny for various families and children.aged from New borns, 8 months and up to 13 years - 15 years of age. I have previously worked in a childcare centre with children aged 0-6yrs as a float for 7 years (where I filled in and covered the teachers for their breaks, Holidays and book work, in various rooms with different age groups). so I have alot of experience with all age groups from babies- toddlers- preschoolers and School aged children.
