I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to academics, and I worked as a tutor throughout high school, so I should be able to help out on homework wherever necessary. Also, I've been babysitting for family and friends since I was 11 - I'm now 20 - caring for kids ranging from a few months old to 13 years. I took a babysitting course in the States and was CPR certified, but I unfortunately didn't bring that paperwork with me abroad. Dear Family...

my name is Maike (Mae) I'm 26 years old and fell in love with this beautiful country. Lucky me, as me and my boyfriend recently got sponsored. YAY!
I finished my apprenticeship 2010 in media design and started my studies after a stay abroad in South Africa. I worked honorary in an orphanage (Christine Revell's Home for Children) in Cape Town. My group consisted of 8-13 children under the age of two years. It was a full-time job with lots of tears, snotty noses and poo ;-) But it was always fun and a really enriching experience.
I've been living in Sydney for a year now. Before I spent one month in Thailand, I worked as aupair for a single mum (3 kids, 5-7 yrs) and for another single mum (1 kid, 6 yrs) and 3 (!!!) dogs.
Apart from the jobs as nanny I took care of the pets (dogs, cats, fishis), kept big houses clean and did office work for one of my hostmums as well.
I'm a very open-minded, outgoing, honest, creative and active person. I love to spend my time with my friends and family. In my free time you can find me on the beach, in (movie-)theatres, in the first row of a good concert or in the kitchen cooking some scrumptious vegetarian food or baking yummy cakes. And of course, I love shopping - Thank God, I'm a girl!
I'm interested in any kind of art like photography, music, film, design, fashion or literature.

Hello my name is Samantha and I have been a babysitter for the past 8 years. I started as just a casual babysitter on nights and weekends and then transitioned into a professional job at a childcare center. I worked at the childcare center as a childcare assistant for 3 years with ages ranging from 15 months to 8 years old. I also served as a camp counselor for 5 year old boys for one summer. I then became a Nanny for two children ages 3 and 6 for a summer. All of my experience with children has involved plenty of outdoor activities as well as activities that help stimulate development in young children. I am CPR and First Aid certified and really enjoy spending time with children!
