I am a highly enthusiastic & energetic person, who absolutely loves spending time with children! I have been babysitting for 10 years, for numerous families, with children ranging in age from newborns to pre-teens.

Apart from babysitting, for 7 years I ran a creche at my local church for children under 4. We averaged about 35 children per week, so I have experience in managing children on a grande scale! Furthermore, this role involved writing and executing education programs for this age group.

I have a senior first aid certificate and am in my 6th year of medical school. In addition, I have tutored children in maths and English for many years.

I am currently on indefinite leave from my studies, due to a need for a break, after over 6 years of intensive study! In addition, I was married in December 2009, so it has been a nice opportunity to spend some quality time with my husband!
I do not foresee returning to my studies for the remainder of 2012 (at least), so I am willing and able to make a reasonably long-term commitment.

The majority of my experience has been with babies and toddlers, and have a particular love of these age groups. However, I am more than happy to welcome offers from parents of older children!

Hi! I enjoy working with children as I find that I discover many interesting things from their perspective and that it is really rewarding to be known as their friend. In Singapore, I started helping out regularly in the cradle roll (child care for 0-2 yrs old) duty in my church when I was 14. As I always had fun, I continued being on the duty roster until my family migrated to Australia 2 years later.
I do not have much experience with newborns, but I am comfortable with toddlers, no matter how energetic they are.
Currently, I'm looking for a part-time babysitting job for 2-3 days per week as I have started university and my schedule is rather tight. As I attend church, I am not available on Sundays, but I don't mind working on Saturdays.
With regards to duties, I can iron, sweep and cope with the general housework, but cooking is not one of my fortes. I appreciate having a rate of at least $10 so as to cover any transport cost.

Inspired from my past experience, my dream is to become a pediatrician. Although I have been unable to undertake Medicine this year, hopefully I will achieve it in the near future. If not, I'm planning to work in the childcare business.
