Hi! I'm Kate, and I'd really like to look after your kids! I've always had a passion for working with children, and have 7 years of experience as a casual babysitter, after school carer, special needs respite carer and now as a student teacher. This experience also includes two years full-time, live-in work at an American residential camp for inner-city and disadvantaged youth and children (6-16 years).
I've done everything from life-guarding (I'm fully qualified in the US), teaching baby-ballet to leading wilderness trips for teens.

I'm comfortable working with children from 2 years to teenagers. Most of my experience is with 6-12 year olds.

I'm fairly flexible with my availability and may be available for daytime work in school holidays. I'm willing to do household chores and prepare food, however I am a vegetarian and am not comfortable preparing meat. I'm also happy to help with homework. My rates are available for discussion.

I am able to provide general work and working with children references, but do not have any current family references.

My CPR/First Aid qualification lapsed at the end of 2011, but I would be willing to obtain it again if required.
