My love for children led me to choose to babysit local kids at age 13, and continue onwards in my life.
I have been currently helping a 7y.o special needs boy, this is unpaid work I do in my spare time, as it is for a friend. I am good with special needs children.
At age 17 I worked as an au pair while studying one year of Fine Arts at Sydney Uni. I worked with 3 families in Sydney over 2 yrs.
I worked at an After Hours schools playground for 9 months, through word of mouth, in Woolahra Sydney, and have a very good reference for this.
I passed one year of Fine Arts, but wanted to enter the workforce, so left Uni.
At 19 y.o I started dental nursing, and did this for a few years. Working privately as a Dental assistant, and at Primary schools in Canberra in the Public Service Dental system. I have good references for this. And I have a certificate of most outstanding student for my dental training course.
With another career change, I trained as a Printmaker, at Studio One, in Kingston and Megalo in Hacket. I did gardening jobs to finance my artistic ambitions. I did art with my late husband. We held many exhibitions over 30 years. I have my CV for this.
As you can see I am interested in art, and yet practical, having done a technical course. I feel children love art and a hands on style approach. Creating uses intellect and practicality.
I am writing a book about growing up in Melbourne, which I have nearly finished. I have some spare time and would love to look after children for part time work. Wanting to not only mind, but help children in life skills and to learn, to share, and play well.
If there is anything I can help with I would be pleased to do so.
I am mature, reliable and responsible. I have a good car to travel, and an excellent driving record. I recently got a police check. I have many very good references. I hope I can be of help.

I like physical activities like playing on the oval with ball games, or just going for walks. I am always looking for evening work. And school holiday work. As well as the other nanny positions.
