I come from large extended families, so have experience babysitting. While in highschool I was one of twenty chosen from my grade(208 students) to be a Disability Awareness Youth Leader for The Woden School for an entire year based on an assessment of my leadership qualities and my experiences and extracurriculars - such as often looking after twin toddlers and their fourteenth months younger brother, one of the girls having down syndrome who are cousins of mine.

I have a CURRENT Senior First Aid Certificate, a provisional licence, and a car. Has driven young children before.

During overnight stays, I am able to stay awake all night and care for the child if they need it.

Because I am attending classes at CIT(Bruce) I am available during the weeks days and evenings except for a few hours start/end times given on some days, so availability shown is not able to be exact.

Whilst I was studying at uni I held 4 part-time jobs, including Government House and The Press Club, as well as check-out operator at the local supermarket and Babysitting/Nanning for a few families in Canberra.

Although I now work full-time I still enjoy working with children and would like to continue babysitting on a casual basis. I am available week nights and weekends and am more than happy to do over-night stay occasionally. I have been babysitting children ranging in age from newborn to 16 years for the past 8 years. I enjoying interacting with the children including playing games, reading, cooking and have just recently completed a cupcake decorating course and would love to pass these skills onto young children.
